With the widespread use of internet in recent years, new application supporting IP user terminal are constantly emerging. It is easier for 3G wireless users to use these applications adopting IP structure. Meanwhile, some agreements designed for multimedia terminal adopt IP in the network layer. When system load exceeds the capacity of the system, packet switched network can be adopted to provide all the users with service which the quality is relatively low. Mobile IP technology will be widely adopted in the third-generation communication system. Safety services mainly exist in three aspects in the course of development of mobile IP including register of mobile IP and complete data of updating information on location, authentication of data source and protection against replays; access control when mobile station uses the resources on the internet; location privacy and anonymity of mobile station. Among these services, the former two services not only play an essential role in safe mobile IP communication but also are the main direction for research in the field of mobile IP. However, location privacy (like avoiding tracking point of junction for user to connect the internet) and hidden identity does not raise wide concern. These two services play a crucial role in wireless network, for wireless network is more vulnerable to be eavesdropped compared to wired network. Unauthorized entity can acquire the mobile history through location of mobile nodes and exposure to identity, which violates personal privacy severely. The comparison of three types communication technologies is shown as follow.
